How does one determine clamping pressure per square inch?

How can I measure clamping pressure for gluing gussets? AC43.13 recommends 125-150#/sq” for softwood. I couldn’t find any other recommendations for T88. I don’t want to use any clamp and hope for the best.

I purchased the full size rib print plans. I have read that there is a difference between the scaled blueprints and the full size rib. Does anyone have experience with the full sized print? How significant are these two?
