Hi:I tried to answer your question the other day along with the other query,but don't know if you ever got it so heres goes another shot.I'm using aluminum struts that take a 1" square bar internally. Used a 4"piece of bar , rounded the end and bored a 1/4 "hole to take a thru bolt.For the bottom ends, I cut a slot for the steel lug which are per plans ,(and too short for an easy fit. That was for the lift struts.For thecabanes , used the rounded ends and the bore only.Lou----- Original Message -----
