Hi gang, I need some help. I've finished 10 ribs and am alsostarting on the tail group. Now I'm confused. I'm looking at BHP's print (drawing #2).Under the flipper they show the 'SECTIONS OF BEAMS USEDIN EMPENNAGE'. The leading edge I get. The center beam is the onedirectly aft of the leading edge, I think. The diagonal I get. Where is the main beam used? Is the aft edge of the HS the same size wood as the leading edge?It looks wider on the drawing. The same goes for the front edge of theflipper. What size wood is it? Is the wood the hinges are on the 'main beam'?Thanks for the help, these prints are confusing.George AllenHarrisburg, PAGeorgeA(at)PAonline.com(Peitenpol builder)(I'm an electrical and mechanical drafter/designer and these printscould usea little more finishing)________________________________________________________________________________

Henry/Clif, thanks for the feedback.Another question please.I take it that the side/end piece of wood is also the same as the leadingedge. The bottom of the 'T' shape of the leading edge is 1/2" thick, but thecorresponding edge on the main beam is 5/8". How do you mate them upand put a gusset at the corner? I can't bring myself to cut the wood. Itjustdoesn't seem right.
