When you have hollow metal (4130) lift struts that have linseed oil onthe inside for rust prevention, what happens to it, the preservative,if the struts are powder-coated and the ovens are at 400 degrees? I have not had the opportunity to see an Air Camper in person, but do lovethe airplane for it's simplicity. I would like to build one, but haveconcerns on size. Have the shop bake the struts to boil off the preservative oil. Thenpowdercoat after cooling. Then after powdercoating is done, redo the oilpreservative.chris Bobka-----Original Message-----
