Hi all,I havent been vary active on the list the past several weeks.... Mainlydue to the AZ heat which is keeping me from doing any work on the GN-1.Another reason is I've been involved with finishing up my Privatecertificate. I've got my checkride in the morning at 7AM. I feel prepared but I'm still nervous as hell! I can't remember thelast time I've been so nervous about something. I just don't wannaforget anything or screw up.... Sheeeesh my stomach is turning as Itype this.If all goes well tomorrow about noon I should be America's newestlicensed pilot. DJ,Good luck!!!I remember when I got mine (quite a few years ago) flew to the airport forthe test, and proceded to the mens room to "sling mud". My guts were in anuproar. What I've found out since, is that if your instructor works with a certaininspector or DAR, they know if he releases you to them, that it's just aformality to take the check ride. Hope so.Just remember that with all we have to go through, it's just another reasonto be very proud to be a pilot.GOOD LUCK and let us know.walt----- Original Message -----

DJ,From what I experienced, the DE is an instructor at heart. If you don'tknow something, he'll tell you, not flunk you. That's been the case withany biannial that I've had as well. Usually, I'm worried about knowingARROW (acronym for the five documents you need in an aircraft for theaircraft) or airspace weather minimums and he's just worried about yourlevel of control. Just fly smooooooth and relaxed.Robert HainesDu Quoin, Illinois________________________________________________________________________________
