It plugs into your computer with a USB plug and you can plug a VCRor camcorder, mine is analog. It eats up hard drive space 15 minutes takesup 3 gigs. It is not easy for me to use but I can get it to work ok. Thereare probably other ways too but this was the cheapest thing I could findthat would put video from my camcorder on my computer.
