I would like to challange the collective knowledge and limits of the group. Myappologies in advance. After a great week of deer hunting I have 2 nice large buck hides. They will makenice trim and seats if I tan them properly.Does anyone have any experience with leather? I know some of the basics. So farI have covered them in salt and stretched them on a rack and started scrapingthem. Iknow the old indian method would be to pee on it for the salt, scrapeand work in beef or pork fat.I've tried the sporting good and western stores but havent found any info on this.Dick N.________________________________________________________________________________Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2003 20:12:39 -0800 (PST)
