That should win at OSH. What plans did you use and is there a link to them. Ihave my first Grandson on an IFR flight plan and should be arriving around January26, 2011. I think he should be ready to solo shortly after that and he'llneed his own Piet for that. He'll be too short to reach the rudder pedalsin mine.Thanks,--------Scott LiefeldFlying N11MS since March 1972Steel TubeC-85-12Wire WheelsBroadhead in 1996Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Fri, 08 Oct 2010 13:38:29 -0500

Very nice Gene,I actually mis the building part. I too have wire wheels and no brakes. I havelearned that if you keep the tire pressure low (mine look half flat all thetime) it will make the plane very pleasurable to land and taxi. I fly and taximine in 25 & 30 knot winds all the time in the California desert. After 30knots I need wing walkers. With hard tires I can't stop it from rolling evenin calm air. Just my two cents. It's all fun.--------Scott LiefeldFlying N11MS since March 1972Steel TubeC-85-12Wire WheelsBroadhead in 1996Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Re: Newest Flying Piet
