Took off and climbed to 1000agl so I could cruise around over the town and then when out over the farm fields. I did a nice hard slip to get me low, and enjoyed what Pietenpol flying is all about. Gary, yes the front cover makes a big difference and keeps my legs warmer on thesecool California evenings. I think it was only in the 70's today. I stillneed to finish mine by stitching around the perimeter but the main part iscomplete. I've started on one for the rear to keep the dust out.... and raintoo if I fly it out of California.
