I was enjoying the latest Sport Aviation (Jan 98) when I noticed a picture of a beautiful blue and gold Piet (p 126). Then I noticed that the description said it had a 2.5 ltr. General Motors engine. Used up through the ChevyCitation series, late 80's, perhaps later. Seems like it would weigh agood bit more than a model A, but owner claims empty weight of 615pounds. From the position of the prop relative to the engine, I'dguess he's running it direct drive.
