Your intuition on the sides is correct. The FGM gives a good explanationof how to do the sides.The tailpost scarf can be done with a hand saw. Clamp the sides togetherand start sawing. When almost done, unclamp the sides and finish up with ahand plane.Hand sawing with the sides clamped together guarantees the correct scarfangle.Greg Cardinal>>> "Lee L.
