I have my Pietenpol for sale. It has a 1.9 L Ford Escort engine, approx.80 h.p., 2.5 to 1 reduction, Hegy 74-60 prop, straight axle, mechanicalbrakes, one piece wing, cub-yellow wing and tail area, blue fuselage, 50TT, very clean, well built airplane, 400+ ft per minute at 4880' localaltitude, cruise 75-80. I love building and am ready to start anotherproject. Can include current condition inspection. I will take anyreasonable offer that covers cost of materials. Ian, the conversion was engineered by Ed Lubitz, a Canadian airline pilot. He at one time provided a bolt on reduction unit--cast iron, no housingbolted directly to the engine, and a manual that described the entireconversion process and included drawings of all conversion parts.
