July 28th. THIS DATE has not been totallyconfirmed yet but most likely will be the day. Tom Poberezny saidhe would like us there early since alot of the crowds leave towards theweekend or right after. The good part about this is that we will beable to have the Piets at Oshkosh for a day or two, then fly downThurs, Friday to the Brodhead, WI Pietenpol Fly-In and enjoy BOTHevents BACK to BACK. I should be a great time- the more Pietsthe better. I am keeping track of who is joining us to Oshkosh forour newletter editor Grant MacLaren. (so EAA knows how manyparking spots to rope off for us) Grant has been working withGolda Cox and Tom Poberezny at EAA and hopes to do a multimediapresentation on Pietenpols one night at the Theater in the Woods. Also on opening day Bill Rewey will be doing a tent forum at EAAabout Pietenpols. Please spread the word and hope to see youat BOTH events !!Mike CuyClev. OHGreetings: I hear that there will be a Pietenpol gathering at Oshkosh thisyear. Just a quick question! Who on the list will be going to Oshkosh this year, flying or driving. I'm going armed with my digital camera, ready to get asmany ideas as I can, from the more experienced builders and flyers. I wouldlove to meet with anyone that's going!KenGN1 2992Canada ________________________________________________________________________________

I'm just 3 or 4 hoursaway from completing 2 knotty pine night stands for my wife....----- Original Message -----

Subject: Pietenpol-List: Re: OshkoshI'll be flying to Oshkosh.. in a wood airplane.. but not the Piet.. not this year. I hope next year. Look for the tan, orange and white Bellanca triple tail up around Row 20 in North 40. I bet we could scare up a cold beverage or twofor your trouble. I'll bring pics of my Piet project. Oh, and I plan on hopping over to Brodhead on Saturday too. Hope to see some of you there.Matt PaxtonBellanca N8866RPiet on landing gear, getting ready for the engine mount.________________________________________________________________________________
