yes, it wouldn't hurt, however, I glued mine on the underside of thecapstrip so they wouldn't be seen. I have a one piece wing so I terminatedthe fabric down inside the wing cavity for the gastank.....some guys cut a1/32 or 1/64" plywood cover to cover the root rib as a "cap".
