Bart,Sounds like they are 19" rims for 2.5" wide tyres, and soundslike a good plan is forming, Now, as long as they are not "clincher" rims all should be great. Once had an old chevy, 1925, which had clincher rims. Tyreswere no problem to come by, BUT mounting them was aneye opener for this kid. Got any pictures you can e-mail? I' already committed to the steel rims. Ilooked for Al rims but all were cracked and beat up pretty bad. Last week Isandblasted them and they look like new. Oh well, that should keep my Pietfrom being tail heavy!! They weigh 13 lbs each.
