"Ian Holland" Carl, I had the whole job done by a local auto machine shop for$150 Canadian. This included magnafluxing the crank, regrinding10 thou and threading. I guess the price of threading was about$50. They did not have to remove the gear, and it was a firstclass job. They had a real old guy in there and did his eyeslight up when he saw the crank.
