When I first flew it with engine aligned to thecenterline of the airplane it was a bear. I had a problem keeping itstraight & level. Don't ask about the landing. I tilted the engine tothe right & down by inserting shims between the engine & engine mount.After that, it almost flys hands off ( in smooth air ). hiatus from things aviation related, I am happy to say that I'm back in the Pietenpolafficianado fold. Hopefully the same enthusiasm that existed 2 years agofor the Piet hasn't waned, and I can now follow up on my intentions to maybeeven get started on my own project.I havenoticed some of the same names in the discussion list.
