I tend to do EVERYTHING the old fashioned (slow/cheap) way so I cut muchof my own tapes. I used what would otherwise have been scrap fabric to cut whateverwidth I needed, straight-cut or bias. I did run across an antique Singerhand-cranked pinker along the way but found it harder to get a straight cut.Just put the fabric on a flat surface, lay a long straight edge aligned with theedge or at a 45, mark it with a pencil and cut it with pinking shears (or regularshears and fray the edges). Larryps. My straight axle, long fuse, "A" powered Piet weighed in at 570#!! In spiteof that, I'm going to have to poke new holes in my cockpit fairings and movethe wing aft 2".....Bummer!!!!________________________________________________________________________________
