Hey yallI thought it was about time to post a reminder that the Wood Forum tentat Sun n Fun has in the past been sort of Piet central for meetingothers on the list. Bert runs a great show down there. I have beenpre-cutting wood and will be atempting to build a complete long Pietfuselage at the show. We will also be running Mike Cuy's excellentvideo all week. Is your address still the same for ordering copies Mike?Did I miss anything Bert?Dick Navratil________________________________________________________________________________Date: Sat, 30 Mar 2002 19:17:36 -0800 (PST)

I'll just add that several of our Piet Buds will be on site for most of theweek. In addition to Dick whose driving all the way from frosty Minnesotato Fla with a 16 foot trailer in tow to bring the Piet jig and materials, there will be several other regulars . Don Hicks, Skipp Gadd, and CharlieRubeck will be there in the wood shop. regulars - Bill Cameron, AllenCrowe, Art Luther, Art Waszak, Gene Arnold, Mike Hattaway and JimScroggins. Also our Friend Doc Mosher as well as Ted Brousseau will checkin for a visit. Larry Harrison (Poplar Piet, Le Baron , and now a Boredomfighter) always comes by for a visit. I THINK I heard that William Wynn willbe involved in the engine workshops. Many other Piet Folk come by duringthe week.Of course this is not a Pietenpol workshoip, it's actually a workshop run byvolunteers to demonstrate woodworking techniques for our visitors and forother builders. But since the Piet is THE Quintessential example of theperfect wood plane - we just cant help it....Everybody's invited - of course we always appreciate volunteers. Please stop by and introduce yourselves.Bert----- Original Message -----

Hey fellow pieters- I will be camping out with my cessna 140 on the vintage camping area sunday thru thursday. Come by and lets talk Pietenpols. My cessna is silver grey and has a rubber chicken hanging on the prop. Squeeze it and it might wake up. See you there. Gardiner Mason. P. S. I am from Atlanta and building the Piet in Lagrange, Ga.________________________________________________________________________________

She also got some new instrument boards too but that's enough talk for one day.John________________________________________________________________________________Subject: Pietenpol-List: Re: Gene's progress

Yeah, Dan, "VERY distasteful" indeed. I haven't had to open the case halves (whichwould constitute "complete" for the corvair) but popping the heads off kindastank.Looking forward to seeing that Garmin 1000.....God willing I'll take a picture of fat girl next to your masterpiece in July:).Kevin--------Kevin "Axel" PurteeNX899KPAustin/Georgetown, TXRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Re: She got legs
