Gary,To my knowledge, the cylinders only have one (upper) spark plug hole with aboss that would have to be machined for another so you are limited to onespark plug unless you get the work done. ASk anyone else on the list thathas an A-65/C85/o200 about how many RPMs thye can sustain on one magneto andthe will tell you about 1900. The second plug makes a big difference onpower output. Go to your power curves for any of these engines and computethe power vs avail RPM and you will see a pretty low number, maybe 50 HP forthe 0-200.The cylinders have the exhaust ports on the bottom but the intake ports areon top. This pretty much means that you have to have your carb above theengine. Then your fuel tank needs to be about 28" (or some number big likethis) above the carb float valve (this is the "head" pressure). C-90 or0-200 cylinders bolt right on though.THe crank is the same as an 0200 except that the flange is about 1/2 to 2/3as thick and does not have the centering boss. It could be a good sourcefor a crank if you make a new flange/boss adapter to SAE 1 spec. That isassuming that the crank is still good. Also one of the prop bolt holes isoff of the circle used by the other five. The crankcase soed not have the standard mounting lugs on the rear of thecase. Inestead, it uses a bed type mount like on a franklin or the biggercontinentals like in a bonanza. The rear case a gears are quite a bit different. You would have to see thebook referenced next.I have a catalog published by Provincial Arimotive Corp from 1968 that hasextensive details on the conversion of these PC-60 packette engines. I willtake it to my father inlaws and have him scan, burn to disk , and then postit back to this list.Chris bobkaTC-----Original Message-----
