Gene Rambo can confirm this. I looked at an old stearman wing in hishanger. If I remember correctly, the rib gussets were some kind of cardstock, not wood. The Finnish ply is much stronger and very suitable.By the way, if you have one of those guillotine type paper cutters, you cancut your gussets to size on that.Mike BellGaston, SC I just ordered some of the Finnish plywood from AS&S. What you saw in my hangar was an old set of Stearman duster wings built bymid-continent or someone like that. They have plywood gussets, though.
