Hey everybody,Here's the deal. I glued my floor on last week and it's not perfect. There are no gaps on the vast majority of it, and there are no gaps atall on the outside. There are sections, particularly near the pilotsseat, where no glue squeezed out. There is one section on the inside ofabout 6 inches with a gap of about 1/16 of an inch for 4 or 5 inches. Itis almost perfectly glued to the front ash piece but there is no squeezeout and a couple of tiny gaps on the backside of the back ash crosspiece. Also, the spruce cross piece in the very back has just a littlesqueeze out.Should I cut it off and do it again? If so, do I have to sand all theglue off the longerons? Seems like I would lose too much longeron ifthat's the case. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.Ken in Austin, who will get a helping hand next time and will never relyon plastic clamps again.________________________________________________________________________________Date: Mon, 24 Jun 2002 09:11:16 -0700 (PDT)

Thanks Dell, I think you're right about damaging the longerons. I'llconsider the straps.----- Original Message -----
