They have a small mounting area that Ifelt (although I'm not an engineer) could be easily be ripped out ofwood in a hard landing. So you would need to add a large steel plateunder the floor board to spread the mount load over a larger area. Ithink you would also need to weld this steel plate to another piecethat you would want to run up the outside of the fuselage and tie itinto some of the fus. bracing. I think it could be done. I never weighedthe Cessna gear, but my tube gear legs are lighter. Leon S.
