Depends on the quality of the rebuild. Mine cost $1500 for the core, $1000to have a certified shop magnaflux and grind the crankshaft and overhaul therods and the rocker arms, $3300 for new Millenium cylinders (the old oneswere shot), $225 for a new camshaft, $550 for new cam followers, and $800for new Slick Mags, harnesses and plugs. Total, about $7500, but I knowwhat I've got, and it is really an almost brand new engine. That was withme doing the assembly (under the eyes of an A&P IA). You can do it forless.
