Subject: Pietenpol-List: rpm'sI have a piet that was built in 1975 and it has a 1965 110 hp corvair, the original prop was a 66/30 prop and it was broken when they had an off airport accident. We got an another wood prop but all I can get out of the engine (newrebuilt is 2250 rpms ant 5500 feet elevation in Casper, WY. Wayne in his book talks about it running over 3000 rpms, what is the normal rpm a corvair shouldrun?
