Douwe,I sloshed my Pietenpol fuel tank in 1985, thinking this was a good idea. About15 years later I had to build a new tank because the sloshing sealer had deterioratedand bits of it were floating around in the gasoline. Not a good situation!!Pressure steam cleaning didn't remove the sealer, and only made the situationworse.Perhaps it would have been OK with 80/87 had this fuel remained on the market.Alas, I had to switch to autogas and that may have been a factor. I dunno. In the meantime I, like Chris, don't recommend sloshing and I won't do it again.Graham Hansen (Pietenpol CF-AUN)________________________________________________________________________________
