I guess I don't see the hidden agenda. I just returned from nine days in Oshkosh and could have stayed a lot more. I think EAA is trying to cover most of the bases. What about Sport Pilot? Justbecause you may have already lost your medical and can't get a SP license withoutjumping through a lot of medical hoops is probably disappointing to some especiallythose of you who are in that very situation. But that change was madeat the FAA. Can you imagine flying with someone who may have another medicalemergency at any time. I don't want to be with them or near their flight path.Let's prove that we are worthy of the license rather than all being grand fatheredin with a valid drivers license. My mother has one too but I sure as heckdon't want to ride with her.You have to agree that Sport Pilot will make flying a lot easier for the masses. Those with fat ultralights or a light Cub, Champ, or T-craft or a homebuiltthat fits the criteria. If you think EAA has missed the boat for grass roots aviation in their publications, then you are reading the wrong one. Take a look at Sport Pilot that usedto be Experimenter magazine. There is gobs of great grassroots flying in there.Just my 2 centsLeroy B ________________________________________________________________________________
