I think what people mean to say is that with proper varnishing/epoxycoatings and drain holes, wood will last outside just fine. Your exampledid not display signs of having either done to it. FWIW I parked my FisherFP303 outside on a grass strip in Massachusetts for three years without aproblem. Jim -----Original Message-----
