My next-door-neighbor is a Marine aviator who did two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, electronics warfare in the E6B Prowler, now stateside and serving as liaison between the different branches of the service (and allies) on how the electronics warfare guys direct the battles (I guess). Super nice guy. His wife is a nurse-anesthetist at Wilford Hall here in San Antonio.I hope to give him his first ride in a Piet -and in a taildragger, for that matter- in 41CC. So far all of his civilian piloting time has been in spam cans; he presently rents a Diamond. I hope his stick time in a Piet will be as exciting as in the Prowler but somehow I think it will be different ;o) But hey- they do fly the Prowler down low sometimes!Regardless of who wins the war, my buddy has earned my respect and his honor and so has his wife, who tends to military casualties and staff who go to Wilford Hall for treatment.Oscar ZunigaSan Antonio, TXmailto: taildrags(at)hotmail.comwebsite at http://www.flysquirrel.net_________________________________________________________________Find a local pizza place, music store, museum and morethen map the best route! http://local.live.com?FORM=MGA001______ ... __________

Agreed. We need to separate the conflict and all of the politics associatedwith the conflict from the guys and gals doing the dirty work. I don'tagree with the war in Iraq, happy that we did not get involved, but thattakes nothing away from the people out there doing their duty as best asthey know how.Bob-----Original Message-----
