My family and I made our first trip to Brodhead this weekend and had a great time.There is no way I can begin to capture the magic of the event, but I haveput together a video to share some of what we saw. There was so much more toBrodhead... great people, great scenery, great conversation... oh well, thisis the best I can do. We had such a great time we are already looking forwardto next year. Time to get busy on my project. I had to break my video in two parts because You Tube only allows 10 minute clips.It is pretty "home video'ish" with my wife and son taking center stage formuch of the footage, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. I accidentally put thesame photo in the sequence twice... can you tell which one? It just happensto be what I consider to be one of the nicest airplanes I saw all weekend... butthey were all very nice. I hope mine is worthy of sharing the same companyin a few years. Did anyone get that great landing that closed 36L for an hour ?My right bungee gave way and folded the right wheel just enough to clip my Hamelton,I had the Left tire planted solid on that big red circle and that peskytwister snuck under the left wing, I closed everything down jumped out pickedup the right wing, the wheel jumped back in place.Met a bunch of feds very fast and there you have it an " IN- CENT DENT "Pieti Lowell Radio report .... pietenpol main gear folded on touchdown ... haven't moved theaircraft as of 11:24amUpdate at 11:43am... just saw the pientenpol being towed by the tail off the runway.36L should reopen soon.
