Hey all=2CI want to thank all who I talked to at Brodhead about your planes - great pilot fellowship. I was only able to be there for about 4 hours on Saturday due to the people I was with getting "bored". Next time I'll be going myself for sure - others don't get it. Thanks to Dick Navratril for the offer of a ride - I wish I would have been there long enough to take you up on it. It was great to see Greg Cardinals airplane in person after seeing it a number of years ago in the construction phase. Dale and Greg's handiwork is hard to beat. There was a green Piet there with fabric covered wheels. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner but I'd love some info on how the wheels were done. Great looking airplane. I'm getting my spar material in a few weeks so the wing will formally be under construction soon. Again - great event! Most Piets I've ever seen there. Thanks to all who flew in!Tom BrantBrooklyn Park=2C MNFuselage=2C wing ribs and tail section completeCorvair engine underway________________________________________________________________________________Date: Mon, 27 Jul 2009 20:47:29 -0400 (GMT-04:00)
