I"m getting ready to make my hubs for my spoked wheels so I thought I better decideon my braking system first. Right now I am leaning towards using band brakesala, Simon McCormick, Larry Wiiliams and Dennis Hall. All three seem to haveused the same brake design, at least the drums look very similar. Does anyoneknow whose band brakes these are? Are they from Northern Tool?By the way I was planning on going to Lee Bottom tomorrow morning and returningSunday. With the rain I'll play it by ear. My Wife just said she would stilllike to fly in on Sunday if the weather clears. The Davidson's are still goingto have a Barbecue on Sunday if conditions permit. Fortunately for us its lessthan a 2 hour flight. Quick question... should I use 1x19 or 7x19 for drag/anti-drag cables? I planto use thimbles and turnbuckles rather than swage type fittings. The 1x19 islisted as being quite a bit stronger, but not as flexible.
