With the rib inverted and held on fake spars, I pulled at 12-15 locations on therib capstrip with load spacing approximating the pressure curve of the airfoilin flight(i.e. concentrated on the front section of the rib). My "load" onthe rib fixture was via engineering grade springs and wingnuts to make it easyto count turns and track compression/spring rate. If memory serves, I heard acrack at #358 of loading. This roughly translates to 10G's. If anyone is interested,I can post a pic.--------PAPA MIKERead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: RE: Pietenpol-List: Re: Wood OptionsDate: Tue, 29 Sep 2009 12:59:11 -0400
