I have made some aluminum blocks with 1 1/4" sheaves to replacethe hardwood guide blocks that were installed on my project. The elevatorcontrols seemed heavy when I rigged the cables. The cable changes direction about15 deg. now but runs nice and smooth with little friction. I did not wantto put too much stress on the elevator control horns but have enough tensionto avoid flutter. Maybe I am being too concerned.--------Jon Coxwell GN-1 BuilderRecycle and preserve the planetRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Wed, 2 Dec 2009 06:37:11 -0600Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Re: Pietenpol-List Digest: 12 Msgs - 12/01/09
