All,Am planning to order the Pietenpol Air Camper plans along with the long fuselageand three piece wing supplements, should I also order the builders manual andrib template supplements? My reason for asking on the later two is Ive read the rib template was a bit outof true and that so many of the old magazine articles covering Mr. PietenpolsAir Camper builds are carried on line. Ive already noticed the CAD drawings here as well as other material so I wantto make an informed choice of what to order/purchase initially. Winter ? ? All this type of weather does for those that are reluctant to get theirnose red, is make a person dream, and dream you will.I too have kept all thosememories, from the 60'S to the present. Allen Rudolf's was my first Pietto fly, and he introduced me to Mr Pietenpol, and Vi. The early 40s started meflying and you all will never forget all your moments in that first flightof your Pietenpol. After returning from Oshkosh, I got my well healed Piet back in the air with aspare prop. and a few more hours, The ski season is here and as well as coolerweather, Warm water in the Ford allows a smooth start, with the radiator covered80 % the balance of heat is directed to the front cockpit, this makes forwinter Piet excitements. Thank's for the information Ryan. I hadn't thought about the "rib print" on theshop wall, that one made me grin. I've already laid out space in my basementto do the rib's and tail feathers. Time will tell on a pole barn or work shop.JoeRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Fri, 4 Dec 2009 18:24:18 -0800 (PST)
