I taught there for a year in the early 90's. The A&P program was actually startedin the late 80's and the first class graduated in 91, iirc. Since the schoolwas part of the Tech Ed department and located by the main campus (no runway),they never could have a real flight school. The program was started by a guy named Jim Dehlin, now retired, who lost both legsmid-thigh in Vietnam. In spite of that, he was a DE and flew a Piper Comancheon a SODA. An inspiring guy.Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Off Topic - Rocket Racing League
