John - I didn't flange anything. Just took a thin piece of flat stainless, cutout the notches for the engine mount, and then screwed the metal on with a bunchof screws into the structure around the edges. Simple and works great. I put a layer of fiberfrax in between but in retrospect that seems like overkill(silly, expensive and heavy). When I attached the fabric I removed the firewall and glued the fabric around theedge of the structure (had to clearance the fiberfrax a little), and then reattachedthe metal.Best regards,Kevin PurteeNX899KPAustin/GeorgetownRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2010 16:21:11 -0600Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Re: Firewall Fabrication
