The prop is a 68" warp drive. I tried decreasing the pitch. The static went up~150 rpm. Gave me a slightly improved climb, slower top speed and more fuelburn (all to be expected). I put it back the way it was. I could probably tryto increase the pitch and improve that top speed but it flies so darn goodnow I'm reluctant to change it. Given my short legs it doesn't matter too muchanyway. (You know, if I hadn't verified that my airspeed indicator reads 10%high,I could lie about the top speed in good conscious...)I don't have gap seals on the elevators. The tail comes up really quick just theway it is.KevinRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Countdown to BrodheadDate: Tue, 18 May 2010 07:18:33 -0400

Dan,3/8" is pretty much the standard size for a #8 screw, but it looks like McMasterCarr carries some smaller washers:http://www.mcmaster.com/#washers/=7544vaBill C.Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Tue, 18 May 2010 07:23:55 -0500
