I'm already ahead of you. I found an old SNJ canopy and fitted it to 41CC. (Iguess I should mention that I did it with paper, scissors, and glue though ;o)--------Oscar ZunigaSan Antonio, TXAir Camper NX41CCRead this topic online here:

Hmmm, seems that the base of the vertical stab should be that same as the chordof the horizontal stab... 18". I don't have my parts in front of me, but thatis the way the plans show it to be. Is your Horizontal stab 18" from LE to TE? If so, how long is the base of yourvertical stab? Are you accounting for the thickness of the vertical TE and LE?Those should be attached to the front and rear of the base material. Haveanother look at the image below for clarification. Let us know what you discover.--------Mark ChouinardWings, Center Section and Empannage framed up - Working on FuselageRead this topic online here:

Thanks Mark;Yep, everything is the right size, but, giving your picture the alice's restauranttreatment (and actually just noticing it myself) the arrows are pointingto the gaps i'm talking about.i am thinking i could add a small piece to the bottom to the vert. stab.to fill in upper gap at the leading edge.Earl--------Earl BrownI may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where Iintended to be.Read this topic online here:

Ahhh, ok... I see what you are talking about. Yes, mine is the same way (withthe slight gap). I misread your original post... I thought you were saying thatthe base of your vert stab was short... --------Mark ChouinardWings, Center Section and Empannage framed up - Working on FuselageRead this topic online here:

You may not have gone where you intended to go...Doublers need to be added at several points on the horizontal stabilizer inorder to make things come out right.See below:Jack PhillipsNX899JPRaleigh, NC-----Original Message-----
