Couple of young Jedi's showed up last Thursday morning. I thought aboutputting them to work raking leaves and putting up X-mas lights, but theyreally wanted to look at the Piet. One has been taking welding in highschool, so I put him to work making some adjustments to my carb flange. Theother didn't know an open-end wrench from a box wrench, so I taught him afew things about sheet metal. In the pic, he is finishing up the accesspanels for my fuel tank. Both did an outstanding job, without any neededre-work from me! We finished up the day by making one of the fuel lines.Got everything I need to seal and rivet the tank this week.Life is good!Gary Boothe Cool, Ca. Pietenpol WW Corvair Conversion, Running! Great story Gary,Aside from my own strange obsessions (like aviation, that is), one of my joys is helping lead a high school youth group.
