Found a book grandpa gave me along with all of his Pietenpol logs and info.."Wager With The Wind" the Don Sheldon story, a great book about a young man whodecided Alaska was his place, and came to learn bush flying once he got there!I am only 1/4 way into the book, and so far I have gone from really reallywanting to fly my T-Craft to alaska, to I WILL fly my T-Craft to Alaska! At garage, estate and library sales I found some greatbooks. The most fun were written about 1910 when the authors were not surewhat planes were going to look like or do. Lots of rattling good adventure using ropes hanging from the hovering Airship tosave someone.
