Has anyone ever had this trouble. I cannot believe it is even doing it and don'tknow why or how to stop it. I soaked my spruce cap strips in a pvc tube withtap water overnight, next day pull them out and put in jig. They dry out overnightbut when dry they have black mold spots on them. I then tried distilledwater and same results. Tried adding bleach to distilled water and after theywere dry they have black spots again. The problem also is that they seem to bedeep and it doesn't want to sand off easy. After scrubing the dry wood with straightbleach it will come off but then turns the wood a grey color when thebleach dries. Anyone know whats going on and how to stop it? Can anyone tell me if someone sells smooth 21X3 tires. Or where the the best placeand best tire ( soft to medium ) dirt bike tire to cut the knobs off and smoothup. Looking for some that has nice side walls or side walls that can alsobe smoothed. Does anyone run wider tires ( maybe a 4" ) on the 3 rim to makeit look more rounder? Hi Skip=2CThis is Fred Kim. My son=2C Fred=2C and I are building a Piet up here in Pittsburgh. we are getting ready for the engine mount. We kind of use Don E and his Piet for guidance.He mentioned that there is a jig out there somewhere that he had. Would it be available to use? We could fly down to Parkersburg or somewhere closer to pick it up.
