Concerning the GN-1 airfoil, I read that it was supposed to improve the climb of the Piet over one with the Pietenpol airfoil. I don't know if that is the truth. I guess we would have to have someone with access to two comparable planes weight-wise etc. with same type engine/prop and two different airfoils to compare the two. I have the GN-1 airfoil in my wing simply because I had a full-size rib plan of the GN-1 and had started my ribs before I got the plans for the Piet.----- Original Message -----
