Larry,I think that a lot has to do with your brake design, type of wheels, andanti-rotation device, but, if you put the ties on the inside, you will havetwo wraps of 1/2" bungee on the outside. I would think that 1 1/2 - 2" wouldbe sufficient.Gary BootheNX308MB-----Original Message-----

Larry, on mine, the forward end of the V-block (which is the closest to thebrake disc) is 2.50" inboard of the brake disc.
