Sorry for the slow response. I did some unscientific testing on the hinges. I setupa little leverage test and hung under it. I don't plan on using the AN3 boltanymore as it is way overkill and would rather incorporate some kind of bushingand smaller pin. My high tech calibrated yard sale diet scale comes in somewherebetween 0 and 1 oz depending on how you look at it. I used a screw driveras a pin because I lost the bolt. In conclusion, dont use a screw driveras a hinge pin. And maybe the best part for some of you is that there will be no more Posts hereon Sherpas and climbing Mount Everest.
