I left the floor board tacked on, but not glued on, at this stagesince the floor also attaches under the pilots seat where the sides pull together.3. set the fuselage assembly upside down on those beautiful flat toplongerons.4. pull the sides together to the width dimensions shown in the plans, trim tailpost,5. put the floor permanantly on, add all the rear sticks in thefuselage.6. let dry7. sit in seat and make engine noises.Dick Winkel________________________________________________________________________________

This description is basically what worked for me too. I used thick ropeand tourneques to pull the sections together. When the tail post wasmeeting, I sawed sraight down with a back saw to get the tail postangle. Worked good!________________________________________________________________________________

Thanks to all for your input - I *think* I'm being advised tobuild-up sides flat, assemble & square-up front section (fromfirewall to top stiffener for instrument cowl, and then bendas necessary to make tailpost. Questions: 1) install plywoodsides & floor AFTER bending or BEFORE? 2) Won't scarf cut fortailpost require multiple passes of hand saw, as in clamping, cutting, re-clamping, cutting again, etc. until correct angleis achieved? When replying, pretend you're talking to a fiveyear old....that way, I might be able to keep up! Thanks again.Low & SlowLee in MI________________________________________________________________________________
