Subject: Pietenpol-List: Antique mag switchAll,I took a look at the picture of the antique mag switch listed on e-bay, butI'm a little confused. The selector has positions for off, battery, mag andboth. So, how do you check the right and left mag independent of eachother, as with modern switches? Or, maybe you don't?Mark BoyntonGilbert, AZSay Bye to Slow Internet!http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html_ ... __________

Mark, that switch is for a Jacobs engine, which has one magneto and abattery/distributor system for the dual ignition, so you check the battery, mag, and both.----------
