Ok,,, got a question before I start putting this center sectiontogether. Do you cut out part of the rib where the center strutbracket crosses it on the spar? I've got 3/4" spar and even withoutthe ply spacer the metal bracket doesn't clear the vertical brace on therib.I hope this question is understandable,,,, better yet, hope to get asolution. I too am starting the center section. I copied some helpful photos off the websiteof Doug Hunt on the aircamper.org site. They may be helpful to you Carl withyour question. My question is : have you noticed that the plans for the centersection differ from the accompanying photos in regard to the 3/32 plywoodspacers behind the cabane fitting attachments. The photos show the plywood completelybacking (under) the fittings. However, the plans indicate a smaller pieshaped piece of ply which comes up to but not under the fittings. It seems tome that without the ply backing the cabane fittings will not snug up againstthe center sect. spar which doesn't seem right. I am leaning toward the largerply backing as per the photos. Does anyone have insight into this apparent discrepancy?Dave Boyd, Champaign IL
