If this iscorrect, you are definitely headed for a "put your headbetween your knees, and pucker up" situation. It takesa lot of re-thinking to do this safely. That said, Keri Ann Price did it successfully. It's beena while since I saw her plane, and I can't recall whetherthere were doors on both cockpits or only the front one. However, last I heard, Keri Ann offered drawings, andperhaps instructions, for this and several other mods.Try writing to: Keri Ann Price 9 Piper Lane Hampton, NH 03842.Owen Davies**************************************************Owen (& anyone else interested),As far as I know, you can no longer reach Keri Ann at the above address;also ,the phone # that went with it (got it from one of Grant Mc's BPA website pages) is no longer in service. A few week back I posted a query as toany knowledge of her contact information & Joel Carrol gave me thefollowing address, to date I have written her for a plans list & prices buthave received no reply:keri-ann pricepob 1133north hampton,nh.03862-1133I do not have a current phone # (does anyone?).BTW, William Wynne claims 100hp for his Corvair conversion based ondynaometer data. His conversion plans call for (optionally) leaving off theblower fan, using a different cam, different timing advance and a differentexhaust manifold than a stock Corvair conversion. He also has an option ofa 125hp conversion using a kit of parts from some guy in SC who uses VWcylinders & pistons to increase displacement. Somewhere out there is a website (I'll see if I can dig up the url) for a guy in OR who is building oneof these, with some nice pictures.Cheers!Kip GardnerLaboratory Manager, ODUDept. of Ocean, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences4600 Elkhorn AvenueNorfolk, VA 23529(757)683-5654Bumper Sticker of the Week:"Don't Drink and Park - 'Accidents' Cause People"________________________________________________________________________________
