HELP---anyone out there have a dinged up stromberg carb that still has ausable lower float bowl. In removing the brass plug (which probably hasen'tbeen out in 50 years) most of the alum bowl threads came out with it. Onlyhave around a half turn of threads left for that brass plug and that's notan acceptable since it's my butt that's being pulled around by that big fanup front.I'm more then happy to cover any reasonable costs if anyone can help me.Check out those dusty shelves and cabinets, bet someone has one that gotbusted off at the mount from nosing over. I promise not to tell!!!JoeCZion, IL________________________________________________________________________________

> _tried out the Stromberg carb today and what a difference. It started right away no hesitation =2Ckept going no need to keep priming.Lots of power.AME o take the Marvel home and see what he can find if anything is wrong with it.Must be something wrong with it because it worked fine before.> ============================================> > > ________________________________________________________________________________Subject: Re: Pietenpol-List: Tailwheel endorsement question

John,If you can pass medical, just get your medical for one year and get your endorsement, then let your medical lapse again.Unless you have a instructor that is willing to give you an endorsement without going solo.Hans-----Original Message-----
